IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON VISA AND BORDER CROSSING PROCEDURES IN GEORGIA

Participants from countries requiring a visa to travel to Georgia should submit an application for an electronic visa at the official visa portal at visa information
Note that the Visa Portal is now open to all participating countries and you can apply for a visa from today. Please select "CHESS OLYMPIAD 2018" for the purpose of the visit.
The cost of the e-Visa per person is the US $ 20, after registration you have to pay on the e-Visa website.

The following countries do not need a visa to travel to Georgia:

Please note that participants with a visa and/or residence permit can travel to Georgia without a visa if they are from the following countries: Schengen countries, United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, Qatar, Canada, South Korea, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait T.

Special arrangements will be made for participants from Kosovo and Taipei in Kosovo. The organizing committee will provide you with detailed information.
In addition, please note that if you have traveled to the territories of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia or the Tskhinvali region (former South Ossetian Autonomous Region) and have your stamp stamped on your passport under the Law on Occupied Territories of Georgia (Article 4, paragraph 2) Citizens and Citizens BIS stateless persons to the occupied territories ...
